These two have been married for almost 4 months already!
When they had to cancel their wedding because of covid, they couldn’t wait to get married! They had a small ceremony with their parents on their original date April 4. They decided they wanted to get all dressed up and do portraits in their wedding clothes! This is something I’ve been wanting to do with Aaron, because we don’t have a lot of portraits from our wedding. It’s such a good idea!
When we were talking about venues, I was thinking it might be nice to do a venue with a nice place for them to get ready and a place where I could shoot some details. Also, I thought it might be nice to have a venue with a similar look to their original wedding venue.
I found Derby Lane Estate before the pandemic, and I fell in love with it! Everything about this venue is just gorgeous, with some of the most kind staff. We spent 3 hours here and barely had any downtime! There were so many amazing places to shoot!
I also had the opportunity to work with Floral V for the bouquet and boutonniere. These florals were so pretty! Trisha prefered a more simple bouquet and was not disappointed with the work Floral V did!
Lastly, Trisha did her own hair and makeup and I think she did an awesome job! I thought she had her hair done, it looked so good!
I’m so sad these two couldn’t have their wedding and reception like they dreamed, but I’m so happy that they were able to have their wedding and I’m honored to be able to photograph a bridal session for them!
