There’s nothing I love more than a classic wedding at a historic church!
Growing up, my family went to a church that was super ornate, white walls, tons of stained glass and high ceilings. It’s an absolutely stunning church! Mackenzie and Larry got married at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church in Germantown, and it reminded me so much of the church I went to growing up.
On Saturday, we celebrated the first half of Mackenzie and Larry’s wedding day, with the reception being in August. The best part about this was that things didn’t feel rushed! We didn’t have a DJ waiting on us, so we were able to keep things laid back and so simple!
Florals were such an important aspect to their wedding. Mackenzie’s bouquet was amazing! The Flowerman did an amazing job, as usual! The sprays of eucalyptus on the pews were the perfect touch for this beautiful church. I seriously can’t wait to see what their reception looks like! I’m sure it’s going to be just as amazing!
These two were so laid back as I dragged them down several streets for portraits and finally stopped at this amazing home right next to the church because the lighting was absolutely perfect. The owners of the home even offered their back yard that was perfectly landscaped! It was so sweet!
I’m so excited for their reception, it’s going to be so fun! They’re planning to have the same band that was playing when they got proposed. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
