I can’t even express how amazing it feels to be shooting again!
Between the weather and quarantine, it feels so good to be with my clients and my camera again! Taylor & Timothy’s engagement session was actually set to be my first session after quarantine, but we had to reschedule because of rain. It definitely feels like that’s been a theme over the last few weeks! We had the most absolute beautiful weather for their engagement session, so I think it all worked out in the end!
The last time I met with these two was January 2019. It was so long ago! Obviously, so much has changed in that year! It was so awesome getting to catch up and hear more about their wedding planning amongst Covid-19, and how that’s all working out for them.
We went to one of my favorite locations, Wegerzyn Gardens! It’s so easy to spend 2 hours in this park alone! As we were walking back to Taylor and Timothy could change into their second outfit, we heard this tiny meow, and I looked over, and there’s this tiny kitten all alone in the kids area. I was like WE HAVE TO SAVE THAT KITTEN! Timothy and Megan (my photographer shadow for the day) jumped over the fence to save the sweet baby! She had no momma and no siblings in sight! So we had a little tortie kitten come along for the rest of the shoot! It was definitely a unique experience!
We finished up our shoot, and I took the sweet kitten home with me, got her some food, and she has a new home with a great family!
I’m so excited for Taylor and Timothy’s wedding in October! It’s going to be so much fun!
Take a look at these two (and possibly peep a photo of the kitten)!
