The weather has been crazy lately! It’s definitely making my allergies go crazy! We went from having a weekend in the 60’s, to the day we had Leah and Jonathon’s engagement session when it was 40°! What in the world? The weather is also super unpredictable (even though it’s usually unpredictable – it’s Ohio) so the weather all week said we were going to have sun all day, and I waited for that sunlight, but it never came! I was so upset! I feel like it’s been weeks since I’ve seen the sun, when really it’s only been a couple days.
For Leah & Jonathon’s engagement session, we went to the Cincinnati Nature Center. I’d never been here before but it’s such a neat park! Usually when we only go to one location, we don’t take up the full two hours but here, we took up just over two hours! This location is unique because not only is it a beautiful park, this is where Leah and Jonathon are getting married! I got to visit their venue and they showed me around and gave me ideas of where everything was going to be set up and really, you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful venue! Everywhere we went, I was coming up with ideas.
Being mid-March, the trees are just starting to bud and the grass is just starting to turn green but those daffodils were in full bloom! Leah wanted to do her session when the daffodils were in bloom and I think she planned the date well! There were daffodils, snow drops and lots of other early spring flowers. It’s so exciting because guys, I’m so excited for the light and the floral!
This engagement session was so fun and so inspiring! I’m so excited for Leah & Jonathon’s wedding in July! It’s going to be amazing!
