My 2019 wedding season is over, friends!
This has been one of the most exhausting and exciting wedding seasons I’ve had! I finished my wedding season off with the beautiful, romantic wedding of Kaitie and Gustavo at the Indianapolis Statehouse! I’ve never been to the Statehouse but it’s so stunning! I could have taken portraits here the entire day if we had the time.
There were so many special features to Kaitie and Gustavo’s wedding! These two met when Kaitie asked Gustavo to be her dance partner on their salsa team. How sweet is that?!
The day started with macarons and champagne with Kaitie and her bridesmaids. On the 17th floor of this beautiful hotel, we had a perfect view of the Statehouse. Kaitie’s bridesmaids did her hair and makeup and did such an amazing job! It was such a peaceful morning!
We took the limo to the Statehouse for the first look. This was one of the sweetest first looks! It took a while to find a good location because literally every location in the Statehouse is absolutely breathtaking.
Their ceremony was so special. Gustavo’s mom couldn’t make it, so it was recorded as these two said their vows in two languages. It was such a unique, personal touch!
One of the most important parts of their day was the food and making sure their two cultures were featured. Kaitie and Gustavo are amazing dancers! Kaitie even changed so she could dance more freely!
The night was topped off with pretzels and a taco bar. All of the food was so great!
Kaitie and Gustavo’s wedding was definitely the best way to end the 2019 wedding season!
