I’ve been busy finishing up all of my engagement sessions for my 2019 couples! I’ve got a few more left, then it’s time to plan for the weddings, and start working with my 2020 couples!
I love spending this time with my couples. 💕
Krista and I have been planning for this engagement session for so long! Coordinating outfits and sharing ideas. It was finally here and Krista looked stunning with her makeup by Aleesia Gooslin and her gorgeous bouquet from Ethel’s Flower Shop.
We started Krista and Todd’s engagement session at the Dayton Art Institute. This is one of my absolute favorite locations. There’s an amazing view of the Downtown Dayton skyline, there’s so many options for where to do photos, there’s not usually a ton of people around, the river is right across the street, and the Masonic Temple is right next to it, and that is beautiful as well! One of my favorite features of the Dayton Art Institute is the stairs. In the front of the building, There’s these amazing, stairs that wrap up both sides, and they’re just so pretty. Since moving to Dayton in 2013, you’ve been able to walk up to the stairs, but you haven’t been able to actually use the stairs. I read somewhere a while ago that they were fixing them! I’m sooooo excited about this! But because they’re being repaired, we weren’t able to use them for the photos, and that’s okay, because there’s a ton of other places there, but we were still a bit bummed out.
Our second location is another one of my favorites! Wegerzyn Gardens is pretty close to the Dayton Art Institute, and it’s so perfect! I’ve been waiting for the flowers to bloom and the trees to bud! It was finally happening and we got some of my favorite photos here!
I loved getting to spend this time with Krista and Todd and I’m so excited to work with them at their wedding in October ❤️
