Spring is here! Almost all of my weekends are filled with weddings and engagement sessions and I’m so excited to be back in the swing of things! My next weekend off is July 6 😬.
My first wedding of the season is Beth and Scott! They’re going to have a beautiful wedding! These two have the sweetest boys that I had the opportunity to hang out with in the fall for some family photos at The Honey Farm. This session, however, was just for mom and dad, and they did an awesome job! It was so nice to get to know them a little better before their wedding in just a few short weeks!
I don’t shoot at Cox Arboretum a lot because there tends to be a lot of people, but we can usually dodge them pretty well. But guys, it’s prom season. Why didn’t I think about it being prom season!? I usually come to my sessions an hour or so early so I can scope out the area. I pulled up to the park, and there were park rangers blocking it off! I couldn’t get in the park because it was SO FULL! What!? Have you ever heard of a park being too full!? I know Cox Arboretum is really popular, but I’ve never heard of it having to be closed!
It was prom! There were so many people taking prom photos! I waited a while and got in the park luckily!
In an effort to avoid all of the prom folks, I actually found some new, really amazing spots in the park that I’m absolutely in love with! I’m so excited to shoot here again!
I’m counting down the days to Beth & Scott’s wedding. I seriously can’t wait!
