The weather is finally acceptable! I’m busy almost every weekend finishing up engagement sessions for my 2019 brides, as well as working with a few model calls I did over the winter!
I get so bummed out during the winter when I can’t get out very often and shoot like I want to. I’m always struggling with my confidence, especially in the winter. I start thinking something is missing from my pictures, but I can never figure it out.
Then spring comes back around and I realize what my photos are missing…
A cloudy day is great for photos, because you’re able to go anywhere, face any direction and pretty much use any space available. Sounds amazing right?!
Well, that is amazing! I love having the freedom of a cloudy day, but nothing beats an amazing, creamy, dreamy sunsets.
Summer and Caleb probably heard me say “ugh, this light!” about a million times! They look amazing (following my style guide 😉), and this session easily became one of my recent favorites.
We met at the Brumback Library in Van Wert, which I will say it again and again, is one of my favorite places. You may recall Lindsey & Michael’s first look location and a portion of Holly and Ian’s engagement session was set there. This is one of my favorite locations in the area! I love light colored, historic architecture for photos.
Getting to hang out with these two during a mini engagement session with this amazing sunlight was just what I needed! I can’t wait to get back out there this weekend for Beth & Scotts engagement session!
I love that it’s getting warmer and the sun is coming out. It just puts me in such a better mood. Not only because of the weather, but because WEDDING SEASON starts! I’m out every weekend shooting and it just fills me with so much joy!
