Where is this fall weather we were promised?! Yesterday was an 85° day and boy was it HUMID!
Heather and Jeremy’s wedding was scheduled for 3PM. I arrived at the venue at around 1PM. Typically, I start shooting details and all the little stuff you worked so hard on. As soon as I was ready to take the groomsmen outside for their portraits, it started pouring! This was not in the forecast – at all! The rain started at about 2, then stopped just as quickly as it started.
We were in the clear! I take Jeremy and his groomsmen out to get their photos done, we finish up and I run inside to grab Heather and her bridesmaids. As soon as they’re ready, I walk up to the door and it’s raining again! What in the world!?
Unfortunately, this random downpour of rain lasted a bit longer. They made the decision to move the ceremony inside.
But that worked out just as well! This reception hall has so many windows so we got this beautiful natural lighting! Shortly after the ceremony started, the rain stopped! According to one of their guests, they even had a rainbow over their reception hall! How cool is that?
This ceremony was so emotional and there was so much love in the room. There wasn’t a single dry eye! I’m so happy I got to share in such an amazing moment with this lovely couple! They’re so sweet!
I would just like to point out that they had the coolest bouquets! I’m OBSESSED! They’re dried flowers! It’s such a cool idea for a fall wedding!
We even had the opportunity to wonder around Jeremy’s parent’s farm! It was so sweet of them! They had some gorgeous backgrounds for photos!
